The Christensen Chronicle: get out your hard hats....
http://kellyandvaloriechristensen.blogspot.com/2011/08/get-out-your-hard-hats.html
Wednesday, August 31, 2011. Get out your hard hats. Did I mention I did vacuum, dust, scour and clean all the rooms today? I didn't think the closets would be investigated and truth be told around here we just take protective measures every time we open a door so we don't think too much about it. :) Next time I will have hard hats available at the door with a sign that says, "open doors at your own risk.". You crack me up! August 31, 2011 at 7:07 PM. August 31, 2011 at 8:24 PM. Get out your hard hats.

The Christensen Chronicle: opposable thumbs...
http://kellyandvaloriechristensen.blogspot.com/2011/07/posable-thumbs.html
Wednesday, July 20, 2011. It supposedly separates man from apes and this morning I am discovering why. I feel very clumsy and apelike today. Yesterday I was hit by a sweet teenage driver who thought she was at a four way stop instead of a two way. She pulled out right in front of me and our cars collided. I say, milk it! Let everyone cater to you for at least a month! July 22, 2011 at 10:41 PM. Valerie, if I ever get in an accident and get hurt, I hope I can have the same sense of humor that you have!

Terese's Tell All: July 2010
http://teresestellall.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
8220;What could you do better for your children and your children’s children than to record the story of your life, your triumph over adversity, your recovery after a fall, your progress when all seemed black, your rejoicing when you had finally achieved? Some of what you write may be humdrum dates and places, but there will also be rich passages that will be quoted by your posterity.”. Tuesday, July 27, 2010. Practice, Practice, Practice! The only thing that wasn't great was that DANG cell phone! We had...

The Christensen Chronicle: losing my mind, the sequel...
http://kellyandvaloriechristensen.blogspot.com/2011/10/losing-my-mind-sequel.html
Thursday, October 6, 2011. Losing my mind, the sequel. Typically, there is a bit of time between sequel’s in books and movies; unfortunately, that doesn’t hold true in my life as anyone who knows me, can attest. Many of you who read this blog regularly (thank goodness it’s not many) might think one person cannot possibly have so many brain lapses; unfortunately, my life continues to prove otherwise. The odds are pretty darn good, if one of the drivers is me. Frantically I grabbed a cart, reloaded the gro...

The Christensen Chronicle: parable of the jalapeno plant...
http://kellyandvaloriechristensen.blogspot.com/2011/10/parable-of-jalapeno-plant.html
Saturday, October 1, 2011. Parable of the jalapeno plant. This past week, the family picked and enjoyed the first jalapenos of the season. I am so proud of Mark, who has shown me this past summer that perseverance and dedication can reap rewards, even under the most difficult of circumstances. He has taught me that despite my age and wisdom, I can always learn great things from the faith of a child. October 3, 2011 at 8:47 PM. I love this post. How sweet. October 3, 2011 at 10:27 PM. The Christensen Chronicle: more the merrier...
http://kellyandvaloriechristensen.blogspot.com/2011/12/more-merrier.html
Monday, December 12, 2011. I completed most of it in one huge order of twenty something items. Score one for Val! Or so I thought. Well that was an understatement). Every time we pass a parcel delivery truck on the road one of the kids pipes up with, "they are probably heading to our house? Needless to say when I now hear someone say, the more the merrier, I cringe and think next year it might be simpler to fight the crowds and do my shopping in person! I cant believe that happened! Miss you and love you!

The Christensen Chronicle: who woulda thought...
http://kellyandvaloriechristensen.blogspot.com/2011/11/who-woulda-thought.html
Tuesday, November 1, 2011. If you would have asked me 12 years ago, if I ever thought I’d be teaching preschool again, I would have laughed at you. Life has a funny way of making you change your mind about things doesn’t it? I had to laugh that my first day was Halloween, the kids were crazy as to be expected, which means it can only get better right? You are the best ever. November 1, 2011 at 1:30 PM. That is so cool. Austin loved your preschool. I am sure the kids will love you! Get out your hard hats.
