http://spreadword.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html
For freedom you have been made free. Stand firm then, and do not submit to a yoke of slavery. Tuesday, April 04, 2006. The Plank and the Speck. Is there any good news to be found in Christianity? Sure- don't you know the verse from the bible the reference to which (John 3:16) used to be flashed on a placard at opportune times during televised football games:. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.". In case i...

Spreading the Word: September 2006
http://spreadword.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
For freedom you have been made free. Stand firm then, and do not submit to a yoke of slavery. Saturday, September 16, 2006. I don't think most people are aware of this, but the idea of boundary is inextricably linked to the idea of identity. Well, maybe people are aware of it, in the form of the cliche phrase "personal space", but in general, I think most people are not conscious about the nature of their personal boundaries. Why should I let you in? Sometimes you have to retreat to defensible boundaries.

Spreading the Word: August 2006
http://spreadword.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
For freedom you have been made free. Stand firm then, and do not submit to a yoke of slavery. Sunday, August 13, 2006. It is about as lovely a day as any that Philadelphia offers its residents. Oddly, this is at least the third day in a row of perfect weather. Should I hope for one more day like this, to round out my current four-day weekend? More perfectness for the big Laramee cookout tomorrow? What can I say, about the more than two months that have elapsed since my last post? Why is it hard? It is a ...

To give bread to the flying rats when all around you people are starving and suffering. Take me for instance! We were all dumbfounded for a moment. It was appropriate that he didn't say, "There's the Colosseum! Though I'm sure that was merely a result of the sun and humidity. It was remarkable. Breathtaking. Serene. And a bit absurd. I turned to the left...

Mr southern goes to rome. It's like Ernest Goes to Camp, except. uh. less "Campy." And. I'm not "Ernest.". Friday, July 27, 2007. The End of July. The subways are gradually getting thinner, as is my class schedule. Next month I have only two students left. One would think that, given the urgent tone of the tour guide ads I keep replying to, that someone would email me back, or return my phone calls. But this is Rome. I have learned not to expect expediency in anything Italian. Can you put down your McDon...

For freedom you have been made free. Stand firm then, and do not submit to a yoke of slavery. Thursday, May 24, 2007. Yadda yadda). The other side (the Digital Media Association. And the SaveNetRadio coalition. Here's how I look at it. Based on what I've read from indirect...
