Wednesday, December 19, 2012. Today, I am angry. How much more innocent blood needs to be spilled to pay for our right to own automatic weapons? The price is too steep. The excuses, well inexcusable. Seriously, how the f* * do you comfort your child and tell them they are safe, that it won't happen to them? Tuesday, November 13, 2012. This is when I get the wild look in my eye and Dan understands I. Mean. It. when I say I want to go to the mountains, get out of town for at least the afternoon. So last weekend we took a 2 hour drive to Oak Glen, in the foothills below Big Bear, to apple country. We (okay, I) had plans to try the archery, pick apples, dip a candle, fill up on the traditional fare in the Colonial style public house. Ah, but we picked the apples. Meandered through the fields.
