Robin's Nest: Not SCUBA Diving in Moalboal
http://robinblogz.blogspot.com/2014/10/not-scuba-diving-in-moalboal.html
Tuesday, October 21, 2014. Not SCUBA Diving in Moalboal. For Ike's 18th birthday we gave him SCUBA lessons in Moalboal Philippines but found out the night before the lessons started that asthma and SCUBA together are deadly. But we improvised and still had a great vacation. View from our private deck at the Blue Orchid. Esmeralda The Bird loved me. Local transportation in Moalboal. We used the motorized version. To ease the pain of not getting SCUBA certified we snorkeled with the whale sharks:. We spent...

The Blatter Family: July 2010
http://johnandannieb.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 31, 2010. July 28-31, Lake Tahoe. A couple of days after getting home from Mexico we had a trip planned to Lake Tahoe. (Lovely to be a Blatter with time-shares! We stayed for a couple of days at the Marriot Timber Lodge like last year. But thankfully the weather was better this year! The only day I had my camera was the day we went to our favorite little spot called Angora Lake. It's so fabulous and picturesque! You have to take a little hike to get to it.(Uncle Scott came with us). He was...

http://johnandannieb.blogspot.com/2012/07/these-made-me-laugh.html
Sunday, July 29, 2012. These made me laugh. These kids crack me up! Every pic has a little gem of personality in it! I haven't used Blogger since the changes so this is all new to me. Saw these pics and had to share. My kids have been BEGGING me to start blogging again so I can document their lives. They read over old stuff all the time. Here is a baby step. Wish me luck! Wow, Annie. I just checked your blog - which I do routinely just in case you might have started posting again - and you had! An Advent...

Life on Longfellow: Holes to heaven
http://lifeonlongfellow.blogspot.com/2009/10/holes-to-heaven.html
Saturday, October 31, 2009. You know how there are long lists of projects that you need to work on and you just have to squeeze bits of them in when you can? We've had these roof vents sitting in a box in the office since the summer, but just haven't had time to put them in. There are four that need to go in, but it looks like it might rain today so we only got to one. There is really nothing like chopping a hole in your roof when the sky is so overcast. Were very impressed on our side of the hemisphere.

Sadie Abroad: EAWE: Tanzania Day 1

8220;Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry, but by demonstrating that all peoples cry, laugh, eat, worry, and die, it can introduce the idea that if we try and understand each other, we may even become friends.” -Maya Angelou. Tuesday, April 7, 2015. EAWE: Tanzania Day 1. Don't worry, said Kenya Airways, we'll put you up in a hotel for the day. Those of you who have spent time in Jomo Kenyatta Intl Airport know it is not the ideal place for a one hour layover, let alone the remaining seven hours. So we h...

Saturday, April 25, 2015. After leaving our private elephant show we drove back to the Serena for lunch before setting off on our long, hard drive to the Serengeti. (And those 45 minutes from earlier? Hippos, including a sweet baby! Not an insubstantial bird. Furry brown baby zebra.

Our Family: September 2012
http://stephlandan.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 23, 2012. Landan took a week off work to rebuild the engine in his car. It only took him two days. The rest of the week he just played a lot of play station but he also did play with the kids quite a bit. Football in the park was one of the favorites. Another favorite activity was playing hoops. Hurray! Landan finally put it up. I also cannot get enough of our view. Isn't it gorgeous? I decorated the porch for Fall. The picture doesn't do it justice. It looks really cute. One Option Is ...

Tall Tales from the Life of Lindsey Long Legs: September 2013
http://pandlfamily.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 26, 2013. Im really gonna eat my words. Charlie brings me to tears, often. I had the craziest day. I planned a cooking day with my friend to make freezer meals. We cooked from 9:30-1 pm and didn't even finish our four meals. Charlie slept on the counter top in his car seat from 9 until 12 when I fed him, and changed him. Then I threw him back in his car seat and drove to the biggest trailer event we have ever had. It was an utter disaster! At times I worry that maybe he is to calm....
