Of all things inconsequential! My space. My thoughts.Randomness. How the iPad = Appa. 1try to grab the iPad from my hand and casually drop it down with as much force as he can muster(and that is not less by any standards). 2make a beeline for the nearest open almirah and pull down the books from the lower shelf and flip through them for 3 seconds before gleefully tearing them apart. 3stand on tiptoes and pull down the just folded/ironed clothes with great effort. Appa’. K was quite confused by t...Now, mo...

Of all things inconsequential! My space. My thoughts.Randomness. Posted in Pattani tales. Around the same time last year was when THIS. We Skype with my parents once in a while, despite all of us living in the same city and seeing each other every week. Grandparents can seldom have enough of their grandchild. Of all things inconsequential! My space. My thoughts.Randomness. 100 Happy Songs : Day 32 – Day 41. The original post was intended for just one song, but for no particular reason, I have decided to make this an Ulaga Nayakan post. I am not a great movie critic, and watched very few movies(across languages) growing up, but if there is one “hero” that I’d have to pick through all these years, it HAS to be this man. Here are ten songs(in no particular order). 32 Neela Vaanam from Manmadhan Ambu. Haven’...

Thursday, July 09, 2009. Where did you go? I miss you so. Seems like its been forever. Since you were gone. Scenes from a Memory.

Of Images and Words. This space is my scribbling block. Look Around. Thursday, October 08, 2009. As of yesterday, I had set foot on the Western borders of India - Wagah border. Thanks to a lovely wing, we danced to bhangra tunes as millions watched the guards shake hands across the gate with Pakistani soldiers. As of today, I've also seen the South-East borders of India - at Dhanushkoti. Labels: conversations with the self. This comment has been removed by the author. Sorry for the trouble.

Of Images and Words. This space is my scribbling block. Look Around. Sunday, August 17, 2008. Another sad song. Another fiction. Inspired by 3 doors down. Someday you would want to remember me. And that day I would never know. Seems like, these are mere stories. Oh, let it be, for I don wanna know. Night and day, for all these years…now. I spent my life for you. In this world there is real and make believe. Where do you want to be? I love you but I don know who I am. I love you, but I don know who I am.

Of Images and Words. This space is my scribbling block. Look Around. Of neon lights and lonely streets. Thursday, September 25, 2008. I know I want to write more than this title. I know it every morning, when I wake up before the sun does. I say it to myself as I win over my alarm clock. I know it while I walk to work. I know it while I wait for my cup of cappuccino. I know it while I reply to one mail after another. I recall it while the coin trickles down the vending machine. Conversations with the self.

ramblin acres farm
The old "Blands Ramblin Acres" farmhouse was built in 1910. It is located about a mile east of Taylor Texas. We purchased the house and a small acreage in September 2008. The farm is listed as a Texas Century Farm and is identified by a historical marker. The house has under gone some renovation, but there is still much work to be done. It still has much of its original charm and character.

Saturday, January 9, 2010. Friday morning dawned with more cold, snow and ice. We hated leaving Mommy but had to get underway. We had breakfast together, sang a few of Mommy's favorite hymns for her, kissed her and headed out the door. We bundled up because we knew we were heading for the mountains and were going to be facing bitter cold. Kandy said we looked like a bunch of Penguins waddling up over the mountains of WV.
