A Little Fussy: March 2013
http://afuss.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 27, 2013. Maddie's writing skills are coming right along. See? That's my Easter card, apparently. While making Easter, I wanted to add some letter play. So we stenciled the word Easter onto a banner. I cut out each letter and taped it down over a piece of construction paper. Maddie then used watercolor to paint our letters. We also did two Easter eggs to go with it. The letters are taped to a piece of fishing line that is draped across our wall. Saturday, March 23, 2013. 1 mango, diced.

Swashbuckling Through The Murky Waters Of On-Line Dating: November 2009
http://saucywenchtales.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Swashbuckling Through The Murky Waters Of On-Line Dating. Dating can be ugly. Real ugly. Even for pirates. On-Line dating is no exception, and seems to be more acceptable as a dating tool, especially as one gets older and stops skulking around campuses for victims, I mean dates. These are tales and findings from my explorations of the On-Line Dating world. No quarter will be given. Friday, November 13, 2009. Douchebag of the Week #8: Low Hanging Fruit Dude. My guess is he is some kind of control freak.

A Little Fussy: October 2013
http://afuss.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 30, 2013. Twas the Night before Halloween. I have been all about Halloween this year! I think it has a lot to do with the fact that Maddie loves this holiday SO much and secondly that her school is not really celebrating Halloween this year. She did however get to attend a "Fall Family Night" where they got to craft pumpkins. That's hers above with the cool shades. Then for a nice new tradition, we decided to add this:. Apple Pie Caramel Apples. Delicious! I also came up with this litt...

A Little Fussy: Oh the Phases We Go Through
http://afuss.blogspot.com/2014/02/oh-phases-we-go-through.html
Monday, February 24, 2014. Oh the Phases We Go Through. That's not an exaggeration at all. You would think that you would see a child develop skills but often times it doesn't happen that way. They just wake up and those skills are there. And it happens so frequently too! I remember a specific day when Maddie was three months old. Actually, it was this day:. But the phases have been my one tripping block. The rapidity of change and the stubbornness of it all. (Mine or hers? Maybe a little of both! And as...

A Little Fussy: September 2013
http://afuss.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 25, 2013. Forever ago, I teased that I was starting a new endeavor. Well, I started a craft business. Two weekends ago (yes, in the midst of our move), Maddie and I ran our first booth at a craft fair. My mother had a wonderful idea for little entrepreneur Maddie. All summer, she and Maddie harvested lavender from her garden, dried and plucked it. Then she and Maddie prepared some sachets and a little display so that Maddie could sell scoops of lavender for a quarter each. Napping...

A Little Fussy: May 2013
http://afuss.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 28, 2013. A Princess Party - The Sequel. Remember how last year Maddie wanted a princess party. She wanted another one this year. Since I used up all my ideas last year, I scoured the internets searching for inspiration and came up with a few new ideas. This could be no generic princess theme; this girl knows all the Disney princesses and expected them all to be in attendance. Starting with decorations. I made accordion rosettes. Gem ice cube thingys, beach toys, etc.) into Maddie's Prin...

A Little Fussy: January 2013

Wednesday, January 23, 2013. Our Senses, Part 4: Tasty! Wow, this is long overdue! Back in November, I was teaching Maddie about the five senses. Then Christmas happened and I never got around to finishing. If you're keeping score, we've already learned about sight. So that left the greatest sense of all- taste! And oh, the possibilities were endless. Then we sort edit out. Let the tasting begin! We knew when we made that face that we had eaten something bitter or sour. Until we had a little taste chart.

A Little Fussy: Advent Wrap-up
http://afuss.blogspot.com/2014/01/advent-wrap-up.html
Saturday, January 11, 2014. This is a little overdue, but I wanted to share our traditional Advent countdown. Once again, I tried to keep my daughter crafting throughout the Christmas season. As I mentioned here. I whipped together a quick advent calendar of craft projects, including the elf ornaments. With 24 craft projects, I thought I had boredom under control and excitement in store. But this year, some were hits and some were misses! I'm going to do a project with that! To keep with the color scheme...
