Tuesday, March 24, 2009. We have arrived back home and are settling back into the school/work routine. Our family took a "road trip" for Spring Break this year. We drove all the way to the Grand Canyon on our first day (boy that was a long time in the car), and it was worth every moment! We arrived at my sister's house later that evening. Just a word of warning for travelers: gas prices go up sharply on the California side of the Mojave! We finished our day out at Coronado Island, which was beautiful!

Saturday, June 6, 2009. The table is clean! I have my kitchen table back now. I'm finished sorting through paperwork and filing everything away. Did you know there is wood under there to be seen? It may not be very pretty, but its mine. Of course, the little scratches that adorn my kitchen table are signs that my boys have had fun at the table with their cars and other toys while they have been growing.
