meester toth's humble view of the world: Yet another sporadic update
http://meestertoth.blogspot.com/2010/08/yet-another-sporadic-update.html
Thursday, August 19, 2010. Yet another sporadic update. Funny I just noticed my last two posts were on the 18th of the month, and here I am on the 19th. Well, the 20th by the time I press "post". Maybe there's some sort of blog cycle? For me, that would be like blue moons or seasons, and less like monthly events. The news since last post:. Jess and I went to London - her for a work meeting, and me for tagging along - and we got caught in the ash cloud crisis! Which was not really a crisis for us. It ...

meester toth's humble view of the world: Wow, since May, huh?
http://meestertoth.blogspot.com/2008/10/wow-since-may-huh.html
Saturday, October 11, 2008. Wow, since May, huh? OK, some updates are in order:. I disappeared into the land of data, never to be seen or heard from again. OK, that's an exaggeration. But not much of one! Election season began for me shortly after my last post and won't be done until Nov 8th, from what I can tell;. Jess left a month ago to run a campaign office for SEIU in Kansas City, MO. I patiently await her return - we're both working weekends so it seems unlikely that I'll get a chance to visit;.

http://meestertoth.blogspot.com/2008/05/biking-181-miles.html
Thursday, May 29, 2008. Is no small feat. I learned this last weekend when I participated with Jess and 18 other folks in the CISPES. 2008 Solidarity Cyclers fundraising ride. In other important news, my job is changing, but not where I work. I'm changing hats from being an online communications manager to a data manager, which is an upgrade and will teach me even more geeky things than I already know. KNow anyone who wants my old gig? Drop me an email if you're interested. Blogs of my Pals! People's Hur...

meester toth's humble view of the world: November 2007
http://meestertoth.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 28, 2007. News: some good, some bad. If you've given up on me, I wouldn't be surprised. Here are the last few month's highlights. I'll start with the good. Jess and I moved in together, to a wonderful place that's the top two floors of a house. After many false starts, it looks like we also have a roommate to occupy the third bedroom! DC Trans Coalition won our campaign about handling procedures for trans people with the DC Police. Yay! Jess and I took a Spanish class together;. So mu...

meester toth's humble view of the world: Elation and outrage
http://meestertoth.blogspot.com/2008/02/elation-and-outrage.html
Tuesday, February 26, 2008. I'm gettin' hitched. It's a sign I've been a little busy that this happened over Hanukkah and yet it took Jess writing the adorable guest submission to announce it here. Right away she said "yes." Two days later she said "Whoa, this is really big. Can I think about it? She said, flatly "It spells something." Indeed it did! She had accepted my proposal in a vegetal manner. A picture of the peanut-sauce "YES" is now the backdrop of my cell phone. So there we have it. There w...

meester toth's humble view of the world: April 2007
http://meestertoth.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 11, 2007. The results are in, as of this afternoon: whatever I'm doing dietarily is working. If anything, a little too well.my levels of homocysteine (the biproduct of my genetic defect, and an indicator of potential harmful effects) are *low*. Low! My mom is undertaking the moving process, and although it's hard, she's managing to make it happen with the support of dear friends. Quelle conincidence. If there are things that look out for people, I have a few of them looking out for me.

http://meestertoth.blogspot.com/2008/02/guest-submission-with-news.html
Thursday, February 07, 2008. A guest submission with news! OK, I know it's been too long since I've posted when my partner writes a guest post about major news in our lives. That said, this was seriously adorable and although I don't think she really meant me to post it for real for real, here it is. :) -Max. Guest post by Jess, 7 February 2008. meester toth's humble view of the world: Oh, hope *indeed*.
http://meestertoth.blogspot.com/2010/02/oh-hope-indeed.html
Thursday, February 18, 2010. Oh, hope *indeed*. Another year older and deeper in? The advantage to only posting once a year or so is that I can get a completely random reminder of how I was feeling the previous year. I was really excited about the Obama administration, and how! I don't get paid the big bucks for campaign strategy, but that one didn't pass the straight-face test in August of last year. And now look who's in Ted Kennedy's seat? The good news: Jess and I got married! Lots happened in the la...

meester toth's humble view of the world: February 2007
http://meestertoth.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 14, 2007. It's coming up a month since I posted last - I promised erratic, and gosh darnit, I deliver. Perhaps that was part of the joke. A smart friend of mine said that if he didn't leave instructions, that probably anything we do with them will be the right thing to do. I think it worries me too much. Tomorrow is Valentine's Day. That is a little rough - I know it was well observed during his lifetime. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Meester toth's humble view of the world.
