http://crapideas-sensiblenisha.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 15, 2014. Moby Dick, Herman Melville. Replace sea with water – I’m still making up my mind on whether I prefer fresh or marine – and I feel the same yearning as described above, every now and then. So, I travel. And I get on a bus or train as soon as I can. Below is an account of Dandeli Trip. And when we got a liitle bored with these usual ones we started “Venkat - Kaavya”. And “Raj - Matrimonial”. The people for whom it’s meant for will understand.). The next morning we got up, lazed a...

crap ideas!!!: January 2011
http://crapideas-sensiblenisha.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 28, 2011. I looked at the womenfolk. And each seemed to narrate a different story. And in their eyes I saw a whole life submitted to drudgery and acceptance. I fought between pitying them and respecting them. How did they ever manage? Yet they laughed, joked and lived.Yes, lived. Despite everything they 'lived'. I saw him. He is still the same. Does he remember me? Does his mind even register me? He smiled at me. And my heart gave a wrenching wail. I wanted to shake him up and ask,...Spora...

crap ideas!!!: Jog - Gokarna - Apsarakonda
http://crapideas-sensiblenisha.blogspot.com/2011/10/jog-gokarna-aparakonda.html
Saturday, October 15, 2011. Jog - Gokarna - Apsarakonda. The 'if only' conjectures stay with you after a certain misadventure. But in certain cases as in this trek, they were verily nullified by what-was-about-to-come. For me it was Hydventura - Take 2. We missed Kurnool by 20 min (imagine that, after travelling at 90 mph for 3 hrs! Night halt in a Youth hostel (luxury) and a sumptuous banquet for dinner in the form of Butter Nan (alias chapatti) and Butter Chicken (alias Priya Cut-Mango Pickle) and/or P...

crap ideas!!!: May 2014
http://crapideas-sensiblenisha.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 19, 2014. The inconsolable longing in the human heart for we know not what. Some things I knew. Like I wanted to get away from all these for a while. Like I wanted to go to a cold place. Like I wanted to travel in a train and not take a flight. A lot of things I didn't - especially in their exactitude. I had miraculously secured. I spent two-third of the trip travelling. So, this travelogue has three parts: Rail Trip, Road Trip and Tirthan Valley. Were you, like us, encumber'd thus with Care.

Saturday, October 15, 2011. To leave your gender behind while leaving for a trek is something I understood on my very first trek. So, it was a contented ‘me’, with a smile plastered on my face , as I trekked the last kilometer fresh out of Turvi river, dripping happiness and bliss. An account of Railway Line Trek to Dudhsagar falls organized by Hydventura, is penned below. 8217;(People who’ve watched ‘Dead Poet’s Society’ will get this). Jog - Gokarna - Apsarakonda. http://crapideas-sensiblenisha.blogspot.com/2010/07/hope-it-fluttered-for-moment-or-so-drop.html
Wednesday, July 21, 2010. Hope-it fluttered for a moment or so. A drop of tear upon it fell. Solidifying it into amber. There to stay,. Till it mustered enough courage. Belief-it died a hundred deaths. Retaining a shred each time. It was knocked flat by cruel fate. Till the last ember burned. Itself away-a thin wisp of smoke. Lingered for oh so short a while. That I doubted its very foundations). Why what happened so? July 22, 2010 at 2:55 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.
