From the Passenger Seat. Tuesday, October 9, 2007. The Place You'll Go! Oh, the Places You'll Go! Today is your day. You're off to Great Places! You're off and away! You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself. Any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the guy who'll decide where to go. You'll look up and down streets. Look 'em over with care. About some you will say, "I don't choose to go there.". And you may not find any.

From the Passenger Seat. Wednesday, August 18, 2010. I've been a Top Chef fan for sometime now. It's probably my favorite show on TV these days; if it wasn't for this show I would have probably dropped my Satellite along time ago. Suffice it to say, I was very excited to try Tom Colicchio's sandwich shop 'wichcraft,. Which is a play on names after his very successful Craft restaurants as well as a more affordable shop for us "regulars" to enjoy. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). We found a UFO! Siegfei...

From the Passenger Seat. Tuesday, September 25, 2007. I know that I just posted a blog on my trip to the LA Fair on my other site and probably have no business posting something here since it's not really a offbeat-travel-location (though it took me about 45 minutes to get there), but there were a couple whacky side shows we check out while we were there. The first was the smallest horse in the world! Then I went in and checked out the worlds largest Steer. Now though I've grown up in cow country, I ...

From the Passenger Seat. Monday, July 28, 2008. One of our first main stops along the our trip was in Texas. When we left my house in Fontana late Saturday, I pretty much crashed out until we arrived in New Mexico for a quick bite to eat at McD's. From Alburqurque until Amarillo I was behind the wheel so not many pictures up until here. Links to this post. Labels: CA to MD 08. Monday, July 14, 2008. Our last stop was the infamous Vesuvio's. He called Miller every hour telling him that he could not get ou...

From the Passenger Seat. Wednesday, June 20, 2007. You Belong in the Zoo (September 19, 2006). I took Kellee and Faith to the San Deigo Zoo yesterday. It was Faith's first time there, and she had a blast. It was fun to watch her face as she looked at all these new creatures that she had seen and read about in her little books (or J.A. Deane's Blogs) and realize that they were real. Any how, here are couple pics:. Checking out the Giraffes. As the old saying goes "Leave sleeping Pandas Lie". So I frantica...

From the Passenger Seat. Sunday, August 22, 2010. Gondola at the Venetian. I knew before we came to Las Vegas that hitching a ride on the gondola, at the Venetian,. Almost as pricey as the cab fare in the city. The 10 minute ride was a whopping $16 a person- that's a little over half the cost of a romantic helicopter ride over the city. not including tip and the company trying to sell you a photo at an outrageous cost (even our tour guide warned us to stay away from purchasing a picture). We found a UFO!

From the Passenger Seat. Wednesday, February 20, 2008. A Tourist Wanders San Francisco - Part One: On a Plane. I pulled away from the curb driving my black oxidized Honda into the blackness and listened to Nori on the AM radio discussing the future with a psychic;. Tell me who is going to win the election? Can you put that out there? Are you willing to make that claim? I wish I were this confident about the future. There at the end of the alley is my parking garage. Damn! Ten minutes later, I was standin...
