fiber art and craft: little Bur oak whorl tablequilt
http://fiberartalmosteveryday.blogspot.com/2015/05/little-bur-oak-whorl-tablequilt.html
Friday, May 29, 2015. Little Bur oak whorl tablequilt. This one's done, washed and dried, crinkle and all. I learned a lot. This was a kind of test for a few construction issues before working towards something much bigger. The biggest leaf is just barely attached to the whole. We can also always use another surface-saving welcome spot for handmade ceramics. If Eva finds it unoccupied we can just start calling it a cat mat. May 29, 2015 at 12:41 PM. May 29, 2015 at 3:11 PM. Hi Tina. Thanks. Linda m in bc.

::More Whiffs, Glimmers & Left Oeuvres::: Charlie's (1st) Banner Year
http://morewgalo.blogspot.com/2015/08/charlies-1st-banner-year.html
Buy art. It's good for you. Friday, August 07, 2015. Charlie's (1st) Banner Year. Charlie turned one on the 1. When I first committed to watching Charlie, it was mostly to keep him safe. I just can't imagine hiring someone to do the most important job in the world and I feel for the many families that have no other option. I remember Jake saying something like “He'll give me a reason to smile” or something like that. He had a surprise for me at 1:27). Such an adorable blessing! Judy Sall Fiber Art. I wou...

Still Life Pond: beyond the summer solstice
http://still-life-pond.blogspot.com/2015/07/beyond-summer-solstice.html
Saturday, July 04, 2015. Beyond the summer solstice. This post was started on the solstice but I got interrupted several times and didn't get back to it. Which, come to think of it, is actually pretty typical of how things have been going lately. Sorry not to have been more present here. A couple of people have asked if I am okay. Yes, but quiet. Listening more. Talking/writing less. Trying to find a better balance with how I spend my time. Less sitting. Less on-line. Beth from still life pond. The writi...

Summer has arrived, feels like i'm on holiday already. The beginning of a single-layered cloth. I love the lower light half, the pale colours and am not too happy with the darker patches, however I am going to leave them in it, perhaps if i sew a tight running stitch with white thread they too might 'lighten up'.
