Thursday, September 25, 2014. The pains of uploading a resume and completing a job application. One annoying thing I noticed in the recent past while looking for a job was how difficult everyone makes it to upload a resume and fill out an application. You need to repeat the same actions over and over for almost every company where you found an opening and you want to apply. For example:. Upload a Word or PDF version of your resume. I am not exactly sure what the solution is but there are professional/car...

Random QWERTY Thoughts: November 2013
http://razvanblg.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 22, 2013. Software configuration management best practices. Any software application consists of three main components: the binaries, the data, and the software configuration. The software configuration is used by the application to function properly. http://razvanblg.blogspot.com/2014/01/strong-passwords.html
Thursday, January 2, 2014. On December 4th, 2013 there was an announcement from Trustwave SpiderLabs that a large number of Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo, and ADP email/passwords have been compromised. You can check to see if your was compromised using these services: http:/ haveibeenpwned.com. And https:/ shouldichangemypassword.com. Following this incident I decided to change some of my passwords and while at it to strengthen them. The obvious next question was how do I create a strong password?

http://razvanblg.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 10, 2014. Continuous delivery and customer satisfaction. Coming from a software engineering background I am a big fan of agile and continuous delivery - they truly represent a better way to build products, especially software products. After all what can be wrong with delivering product updates at a rapid pace rather than waiting long periods of time between new releases? How about the customers' perceived satisfaction! Take a look at the original post here:. Thursday, January 2, 2014.

http://razvanblg.blogspot.com/2013/12/about-software-maintenance.html
Friday, December 20, 2013. In general software maintenance activities can be classified into four categories:. Covers fixing errors and defects discovered while the software system is operational in production. Corrective maintenance has high priority especially if the error/defect is affecting application users. For example, an e-commerce application fails to process payments. Covers the necessary adaptation of the software system to changes in the operating environment. For example, the operating s...
