As the Fireweed Turns. Newer posts →. August 19, 2011 · 10:58 pm. I have little ears! Oh yes, as I was checking on my tomatoes and tiger beans, I saw something at the bottom on my stalks of corn that captured my eye. It was oddly colored purple, with a tad bit of fringe. OH! I checked all my stalks and at the moment I have 3. I was so excited, I ran in to tell my husband, who thinks I am a dork and funny because I have 3 ears of corn. When he came out to inspect them, he was pretty impressed. I also had ...

Sample Edge to Edge and Other Designs. Sunday, 18 September 2016. Lovely day out to Quilt Show (lots of photos). We had a lovely day. Lunched in the Cancer Society run cafe on the premises and had the freshest sandwich ever - made while we waited. The Show was very good and only purchased 4 fat quarters for a quilt in mind and resisted the rest. Enjoy the photos and see you again soon. Hugs and blessings to you all,. Tuesday, 6 September 2016. Kiwi Klippings: October 2014
http://crazyquilter.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Sharing my thoughts on life, family, friends, crafts, quilting, cats, hens, flowers, gardening and travel all with a Down Under perspective. Friday, October 31, 2014. Time to stop going round and round. Sometimes when I finish making a quilt top I like to look back on my blog to see when I started. That can be a bit of surprise as it was in this case - I made the first block in May of this year. Then I took time out to make a baby quilt using the same block pattern. Lots of 'spaces' here to let Linda.

QuiltingLotsmooredesigns: July 2016
http://lotsmooredesigns.blogspot.com/2016_07_01_archive.html
Sample Edge to Edge and Other Designs. Sunday, 17 July 2016. It's Jolly July and winter is here. Wow, what an amazing autumn early winter we have had. Fancy having 19 degrees (C) in July for goodness sake. Unfortunately for our farmers it's not so good - drought from summer right through to winter is a bit hard on them. It's been a month of a couple of finishes for our Tuesday Chat group. At long last we finished the Grandmother's Garden hexagon quilt that we chose to finish off some 4 (? In this photo y...

QuiltingLotsmooredesigns: Pretty in Pink Baby Quilt
http://lotsmooredesigns.blogspot.com/2016/10/pretty-in-pink-baby-quilt.html
Sample Edge to Edge and Other Designs. Tuesday, 25 October 2016. Pretty in Pink Baby Quilt. Love the little pops of yellow. The backing fabric I found in my stash too, so that was an extra bonus. Gives two sides to this quilt. Loved the wavy stitch on my new Janome 9400. It looks great the way it stands out on the white squares and adds a little texture. Short post as just get too tired these days. Have a great week and will catch you again some time. Thanks for coming back to see me. Quilt as you go.

Sample Edge to Edge and Other Designs. Tuesday, 6 September 2016. Still alive and stitching. Oh dear, sorry everyone but it's been a bit of a rough time lately and finding the energy to write a blog was just not there. We lost our eldest grandson to suicide and can only encourage you to talk to your grandies and let them know how much you love them every time you see them - as I'm sure you do. Thank you for your patience. Have been very spoilt - this is what I have been playing with today! Off to hospita...

Sample Edge to Edge and Other Designs. Thursday, 23 June 2016. Has been made on grandson's quilt. Just loving the look of it and it is gobbling up lots of the scraps and stash. I also bought some new fabric (Shock, Horror! But it got cut up and straight into the basket of strips for this quilt. Love that. Bradley's favourite colour is green just like his Nana, so I have lots of lovely leftovers that can go into this quilt. He does not take after his Nana.lol. Really loving the way it is coming out. As the Fireweed Turns. I have little ears! The adopted ones. →. August 19, 2011 · 11:40 pm. What my quilt would look like. Here is the start of my first ever quilt. Not to bad, bright to dark. And if you look close enough, it has kitties in it. Oh yes…. I am in kitty heaven at the moment. This is small, but I may make it larger… not to sure yet. But I thought I would show everyone. 🙂.
