Services and Treatment Programs. Riverbend offers a variety of services for adults and children in Northwest Alabama. These services include outpatient and residential programs and individual, family, and group sessions designed to meet the needs of each client. Outpatient services are provided to children, adolescents, and adults who are experiencing psychiatric, substance abuse, and behavioral problems that require diagnostic evaluation and/or treatment. Riverbend is a locally incorporated, public not-for-profit corporation, currently 98% of our revenue is received from Medicare and Medicaid, mental health contracts, insurance and private payers. The balance of revenue is provided from local governments and donations from various sources.
