Team Work. | The DA Chronicles
https://thedachronicles.wordpress.com/2011/03/02/team-work
Blog of a dental assistant student. At my school we’re are taught that team work is one of the most essential elements of any dental practice. Seeing an excellent example of this in practice is something I will always carry with me going forward in my dental career. One thought on “ Team Work. April 2, 2016 at 3:23 am. Updates galore. | The DA Chronicles
https://thedachronicles.wordpress.com/2010/09/08/updates-galore
Blog of a dental assistant student. I haven’t updated in a while! School started back two weeks ago after a three week summer vacation in which I spent two weeks living it up in Chicago. I had a blast! But now it’s back to the grind. That’s all for now. After medical emergencies it’s on to x-ray. I’m hearing from other students that it’s a little bit of a challenge to learn but I love a good challenge. Bring it on! Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Whoo! | The DA Chronicles
https://thedachronicles.wordpress.com/2011/03/03/whoo
Blog of a dental assistant student. As of tomorrow, I start my one week internship at a community dental clinic! It’s the same clinic my classmates and I go to every Tuesday so I’m familiar with the way things run, but now it’s really time to hone in on my skills. I’m nervous and I’m excited. But more excited, of course! Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Fill in your details below or click an icon to log in:. Address never made public). Personal goal: I want to be multilingual. | The DA Chronicles
https://thedachronicles.wordpress.com/2010/09/13/multilingua
Blog of a dental assistant student. Personal goal: I want to be multilingual. I’ve been thinking a lot lately about taking a conversational Spanish course sometime this year. Why you ask? Well, according to the United States Census Bureau, Spanish is the primary language spoken at home by over 34 million people aged 5 or older. What does this mean as a health care provider? I also want to try to learn Japanese and French! Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Address never made public).

Blog of a dental assistant student. Photons, atoms, and molecules….oh my! It hardly seems like its been almost 6 months since I first started school and I’ve come a long way. From the learning the foundations of dentistry, to the importance of sterilization and OSHA standards, to learning the business side of dentistry ( and a lot of things in between), I’ve learned. And there is still more to come. I’ll be spending most of this semester learning x-ray stuff. Let the good times begin. Har har! You are co...

Blog of a dental assistant student. Another important lesson learned. Yesterday I had a major performance to do which involved identifying and explaining the function of dental office equipment. No brainer there. Then came the second portion of the performance, greeting and seating a dental patient. Again, you would think no brainer, right? I mean, I read the protocol, I knew what was expected of me- or so I thought. What should I say? Practice. Or, in this case, the lack thereof. Knowing the pro...So af...
