Green action group based in Melbourne, Australia. April 29th, 2010. Interested in making a difference? If you're not in Perth, check out their website here. Or have a look at their checklist. If you want a neat little list of things you can do to be a bit more environmentally friendly. If you are in Perth tomorrow, take an early lunch break and head down to Central Park (southwest corner of Hay and William Street) - I hear they may even have free solar-powered smoothies! Cheap Vegan
http://cheapvegan.livejournal.com/tag/cheap
Feb 27th, 2012 02:22 pm. I made a really good lentil soup the other day and thought I'd share with you all, since it was disgustingly easy and cheap. 3 cups dried lentils. Approx. 6 cups vegan broth (I use Vegan Better than Bouillon. It's the best one I've had, by far). 3 tbsp vegan butter/olive oil. Thyme and sage (not sure how much exactly. I just kinda throw it in). Salt and pepper to taste. A BIG stock pot. Trying to use up leftover supplies: red beans, frozen carrots and broccoli. Am willing to buy ...

On again off again, how can I fully commit in a well-balanced way? : starting_vegan

On again off again, how can I fully commit in a well-balanced way? 1 Ive read that Vegans usually dont get enough nutrition to sustain optimum health (such as not getting enough iron or b-12 from diet alone), and I was wondering is there a way to eat Vegan and not have to depend on supplements or should I just take them along with my food anyway? Any cookbooks I can buy that have good recipes? Thank you to anyone that can help. Post a new comment. Anonymous comments are disabled in this journal.

Hello everyone. I'm new here. I'm sort of new to being a vegan. A bit about me. My name is Jessica. I first went raw vegan in 2004 while preggo with my daughter. I couldn't eat anything cooked because it made me sick. Shortly after she was born I went back to my omni lifestyle and ate really bad. Since then I keep on trying to go back to being raw. It was a great experience. My pregnancy with my daughter was the best pregnancy EVER! I believe that raw foods played a large roll in that. Post a new comment.
