Dizzy Fantastic's Favorite Website. Join Dizzys Super Club. Sunday, January 12, 2014. Over the last week and a half, I finally read J.K. Rowling's The Casual Vacancy. Many of these characters, but I cared. About them; I wanted them desperately to do right by themselves and those around them even when I knew deep down that they wouldn't. The characters remind me of those in Jonathan Franzen's The Corrections. As in that book, the characters feel both archetypal and achingly, individually human at once.

I don't know if that is just a thing she says because she thinks it's cool but since I was raised going to libraries and bookstores the idea that someone could "hate reading" is beyond me. As a reader and a writer of MG and YA having this 13 year old stepsister who isn't a reader is eyeopening. This weekend she discovered The Summer I Turned Pr...

Saturday, April 19, 2014. How to Make a Marshmallow Peep video. If you've been reading my blog for a while you know that spring is my favorite time of year because it involves making things out of marshmallow Peeps.
