Reading Out of Poverty | Our Programs

http://readingoutofpoverty.org.au/our-programs

Improving literacy to help break. The cycle of poverty. WHY WE DO IT. We provide disadvantaged Victorian children from birth to 5 years with programs that help build a strong foundation in literacy so that they can succeed in education and reach their full potential. Early literacy development is vital to later academic success. Children with poor reading skills are more likely to repeat a grade, which too often sets the stage for a pattern of failure in school.
