I have so much I want to share from my recent travels, but I have fallen far behind. Below is a small sample of my photography that will hopefully give a taste of our adventures. Fernando de Noronha, Brazil. Tropical storm over the ocean at sunset. The moon was the brightest I have ever seen. I love photographing water and because of its ethereal and intangible nature. It is also because of this nature that water is difficult for me to photograph. When you leave the shutter of your lens open and just let the movement of the water be recorded in a single image the visual effect is breathtaking. when done correctly. I really love tulips, a lot. I think they are so beautiful and charming. Especially, when they're wilting. They remain so graceful to the very end. It's almost like a ballet.so gorgeous. Rhubarb pie has always been my favorite and I don't have many favorites. It has become hard to find since the more popular version is strawberry rhubarb (which to me is an adulteration) so I haven't had a slice for a long while now. I was at the store with my roommate when she asked what this strange red celery looking thing was in the produce. IT WAS RHUBARB! I got giddy and decided to try to make my own rhubarb pie. It's so tasty.it's going to be a great week with this friend around! I got the recipe.
