This election is about whether we are going to try to fight growth, let more businesses on Winslow die and leave and run into our neighbors buying groceries at Wal-Mart, or work with the change and harness it so we can still see each other at T&C or elsewhere on Main Street. Sunday, October 09, 2005. Is Bainbridge on a sustainable financial path? As more Islanders retire, the need to improve operating costs and efficiencies and ensure good use of City assets and investments will become more and more apparent. Our citizens deserve relief from this pattern of the City spending more than it brings in every year.
