Straight from the horse's mouth. Finally we agree on something. And there is distrust in Washington. I am surprised, frankly, at the amount of distrust that exists in this town. And I'm sorry it's the case, and I'll work hard to try to elevate it."— President Bush speaking on National Public Radio, Jan. 29, 2007. Listen to it here. The "Bushism" is at 17:21. That's president andy to you. No Child Left Behind Act-. An Act that is hurting our most important resource of all- is also helping to launch the business of his brother. Nathan, I promise when. Become president, I will make a cabinet position for you called "Department of Watching-Out-For-Selfish-@ssh*les." Maybe you can come up with a better name. What the heck happened? I’m no political scientist but I have a few ideas about the recent Bulgarian presidential election. Ataka’s preoccupation with ...

Finding Andy in Bulgaria: another week done...
http://andyhamiltoninbulgaria.blogspot.com/2007/10/another-week-done.html
I have been teaching here at the American University in Bulgaria since July and it has been great. I am teaching 29 class hours a week, I am usually at the language center from 11:00 am everyday to 8:00 pm, but I couldn't love it more. I have great students and my colleagues are great. I even have enough time in the morning to go to the gym and wake up not too late. And the Yankees. MLB. Com has a new service. As I have a free afternoon, I've started thinking about somethings. Mostly, the way my life...

Monday, April 16, 2007. It’s been alleged that my blog should be updated. Yeah. I reckon that’s about right. Thing is, I really haven’t had anything to write about lately. In other news, spring is here, although not today. Today is a very ugly day, but the weekend was beyond beautiful. But here are some pics i've taken recently.

This blog is intended to help me cope and connect as a Peace Corps volunteer in Bulgaria. I hope you can enjoy, learn from, or laugh at my incredibly random and emotional blog. Tuesday, June 12, 2007. My mom forwarded this link to me. Turns out someone in middle Tennessee has the right idea, in my opinion, of course. The pastor, Maury Davis, said in an article. It's time to do something significant, to reach out and affect the lives in our hometown, where God has called us.". Subscribe to: Post Comments ...

This blog is intended to help me cope and connect as a Peace Corps volunteer in Bulgaria. I hope you can enjoy, learn from, or laugh at my incredibly random and emotional blog. Wednesday, September 27, 2006. On Crossing Jordan tonight, Lilly’s mom was hit by a car and died. Do you have a greatest fear? One of those fears that, when you don’t have any really good thoughts to mill about in your head at night before you go to sleep, begins to creep into your mind and run your imagination ragged? When I talk...

This blog is intended to help me cope and connect as a Peace Corps volunteer in Bulgaria. I hope you can enjoy, learn from, or laugh at my incredibly random and emotional blog. For the reading I had a bilingual English-Old English side by side version. I noticed a word in the Old-English verison which looked like my name, "maegen" which was translated as "strong.". A woman g...
