From Our Life to Yours. Sunday, April 6, 2014. Christmas 2013- part VI. The boys' annual Christmas picture in front of the tree with their ornaments. Our final Christmas celebration actually happened in 2014 with the Leonard family. Jill and Mark and the girls came up for a long weekend, and we had a blast catching up with each other and opening presents. Rose in the Making. My little Katydid turned 5 today. This birthday has been anticipated for some time. The poor girl has no concept of time, and every time someone would have their birthday, she'd sigh deeply and inquire when it would finally be her turn. Upon the recommendation of a few friends here in CA, we chose to send him to a semi-private swim school. It has been wonderful! He’s had twelve lessons and I think he’s made a lot of progress.
