Greg and Carlee are fasting from sweets and I choose to fast all meals on Tuesday's and try to eat healthier (more veggies, less carbs.) during the week. We all have our list of things we are fasting for. #1 being self-control (not just in what we choose to eat, but in actions and attitudes). Growing Kids God's Way.

This place reminds me of Market street in the Woodlands. The kids played in the fountain while we waited for Grammy and Paw Paw to arrive. The kids handed Grammy their homemade birthday cards right when they saw her and wished her a Happy Birthday. She loved them. glitter and all. The experience was worth every penny!

Thursday, January 30, 2014. We have used this beautiful brass censer filled with real Frankincense and Myrrh incense to bless our home with the Blessings of the Three Kings. Every Epiphany since Peter and Jude were toddlers. The dried pine branch is from our Christmas tree, and the children each take a sprig and dip it in Holy water as we travel throughout our home, bringing the sweet, silky smoke and the little Holy droplets to each room. For her gift, we re-decorated her bedroom, inadvertently making it look like a pre-teen’s bedroom. What was I thinking? She chose this nightstand so she would have a place for her CD player, books and a shelf for her Lego Friends sets.
