The Franke Files: Bike MS NYC 2010 Wrap-up
http://williamfranke.blogspot.com/2010/10/bike-ms-nyc-2010-wrap-up.html
Sunday, October 10, 2010. Bike MS NYC 2010 Wrap-up. Last week, I rode 100 miles (in one day! Probably the most memorable moment of the ride was in Garnerville, NY. They were holding their Columbus Day parade a week early, so there were vintage cars and civic leaders in sashes milling about as the marching band warmed up; nothing to lift your spirits like riding out to the marching band rendition of the White Stripes' " Seven Nation Army. Thanks again to all who donated! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The Franke Files: August 2009
http://williamfranke.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 26, 2009. Headin' East with Theatre East. I have not been posting much in the past month because I have been keeping really busy with Theatre East. First I was just bouncing ideas off of them (and vice versa) but then they made me a full-on company member. And now I am on staff as Director of Communications. I was also cast in their inaugural production, the New York premiere of Tim Blake Nelson's Eye of God. I guess he has wrapped up post-production on his new film, Leaves of Grass.

Run Like A Girl: September 2009
http://onedayinnovembermarathon.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Run Like A Girl. Wednesday, September 30, 2009. Blog Like A Runner. It's been well over a month since RLAG's last blog post and I, for one, am seriously embarrassed. What's the point of having a blog if no one is writing? A blog is only as good as it's bloggers. So, I am re-committing to blogging like a girl and getting you all the running news that's fit for the interwebs. That's what's going on with me. Want to know what's up with Zola Budd? Run Like A Girl: October 2009
http://onedayinnovembermarathon.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Run Like A Girl. Monday, October 26, 2009. Now that I am in the last week, Marathon week, I am freaking out a little. Well, it turns out I am not alone. A friend of mine who runs a 3 hour marathon pointed out this article about the tapering freak out from Runner's World. It was a big help in making me not feel crazy. I can't think of anything else right now. I am excited and nervous. I can't wait to see people that are coming to watch the race. It's getting so close! Wednesday, October 21, 2009. Tapering...

Run Like A Girl: July 2009
http://onedayinnovembermarathon.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Run Like A Girl. Tuesday, July 28, 2009. I'm A Fan" by Coach Abby. I really get so much joy out of watching other people compete and complete goals. It is one of my all-time favorite hobbies to go out and cheer for random strangers in a Central Park race or at a charity run. Some people ask me why I'm not running New York this year with my honey (who is running his first in our fair city! So, if you happen to be competing sometime in the future, holler! You don't have to get up as early as the athletes!

Run Like A Girl: Chicago Marathon Part 2: Videos
http://onedayinnovembermarathon.blogspot.com/2009/10/chicago-marathon-part-2-videos.html
Run Like A Girl. Wednesday, October 21, 2009. Chicago Marathon Part 2: Videos. It became very clear to me five days before the Chicago Marathon that the weather gods could care less about what I wanted. In fact, they like to mess with people like me, get people like me all freaked out so we'll spend more money at Niketown. Seven days before the race the forecast predicted highs in the mid-40's (that was the high! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Welcome to Run Like a Girl. Living In Captivity Pilot.

http://onedayinnovembermarathon.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Run Like A Girl. Monday, November 02, 2009. Highlights from the New York City Marathon. We were supportive, sometimes over zealous in our enthusiasm (Alison) at the New York City Marathon yesterday. Here are some friends we saw. (A note: there is a mistake on Ciara's video. Kirk thought she missed running it last year.). We were sorry to miss Amye, Gina, Alan, and Maddy. Next year, right, guys? Happy Birthday, Ciara! Well, I have officially broken my own marathon record! The weather is extremely mild, th...
