http://thornesplace.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 5, 2008. My friend Michelle inspired this list. I'm thankful for so many things this year. 1 My husband- he still makes me laugh and I love his passion for science. 2 Our supportive family. 3 Old and new friends. 4 My job- I have great colleagues and my students really make me want to get up and go every morning. 5 Nashvegas- such a cool city. 6 San Francisco- also a cool city. 7 The Village Chapel- we finally found a church that felt right and that truly focuses on the essentials.

The Thorne's: 2 Months
http://thornesplace.blogspot.com/2010/01/2-months.html
Monday, January 18, 2010. Well, I can't believe my little guy turned 2 months last week. Hard to believe that it's about time to go back to work. I'm glad it warmed up a bit so we can spend our last week together enjoying our afternoon walks again. The snow was fun, but it kept us indoors (except for a quick photo! I can't believe how much has changed in the last month. I had to pack up Peter's newborn clothes:( He weighed in at 11 lbs, 12 oz at his 2 month check-up! He smiles all the time now!

Sunday, January 25, 2009. A few more photos worth sharing! My mom was able to spend a week here in Nashville before we headed back to Dallas for the holidays. She took this picture of my flute choir playing at the Frist Center for the Arts. I think we had three concerts the week she was here! I'm also including a picture of those of us at the band reunion lunch. It was great seeing some good, old friends! Back in Nashville. Back to work. And back to our blog! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Sunday, February 21, 2010. He's going to be tall like his dad. That's what we keep hearing! He hates "tummy time," but has been holding up his head for a while. I have to say, he's pretty easy to tote around. He even made it through the entire super bowl at his very first "party! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Beaver Family Blog. Sunday, November 29, 2009. Our sweet boy was born on November 14th at 9:54 am. He weighed 7 lbs, 12 oz and was 19.5 inches long. We are so excited that our little guy is finally here! November 13th was my last day at work. It was a fun day full of surprises! My 1st period AP Economics class threw me a surprise diaper party. I walked in to find our table covered in diapers! About an hour later they took us all to a recovery room where we spent the next several days. Peter spent most of his time with u...

Wednesday, June 13, 2012. It's the little things. These are the sweet little things I never want to forget! When Peter takes a bath he plays with a bunch of animal squirters. For whatever reason, the penguin always gets put in time out. He says “Penguin, time out! 8221; Poor penguin. Overheard one morning as Peter was waking up and playing with his school bus in his room. “Uh oh bus. What happened? I coming. I help you. Okay? 8221; He finishes most sentences with “okay? 8221; We had a 3-on-3 student coun...

The Thorne's: April 2009
http://thornesplace.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 25, 2009. The food was so much better than I expected and we did a decent job watching what we ate- thank goodness! Our first stop was Key West. It was really beautiful and we spent the day walking the entire island. We stopped at the beach, toured the Little White House, the Hemingway House and the Lighthouse Museum. Our second stop was Freeport. We spent the day at the beach. It rained a little but that didn't keep us out of the water! Our last stop was Nassau. We LOVED Nassau!
