Until technologies like Arduino / ROS / Raspberry Pi became available it was almost impossible to build it. While I don’t have the resources of NASA (or even an engineering degree), I do have access to Arduino, ROS and Raspberry Pi. I hope to build a number of autonomous robots and learn as much as I can in the procecess.
