Good One Dick Head! Friday, December 3, 2010. Refused - Songs to Fan the Flames of Dsicontent (Re-issue). Early on in the week I got my order from Epitaph of a bunch of re-issues. I'll start with this one, as it is one of my favourite records. I actually posted about the OG pressing here. So I won't go on about it, but I will mention a couple of things. It's on Red in this case, and I fucking love Red Vinyl! Good One Dick Head! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Promote Your Page Too. Good One Dick Head!

Good One Dick Head!: December 2010
http://goodonedickhead.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Good One Dick Head! Monday, December 13, 2010. L7 - Bricks are Heavy. I had been chasing down this LP for some time now, and I saw it every now and again, but it was always really expensive, not that I didn't think it was worth it, but factor in postage, and I wasn't really keen. Anyways, I pinched the tape one night, and I actually still have it somewhere. I also didn't know that Mr Brett of Bad Religion fame contributed to their songs. Good One Dick Head! Good One Dick Head!: May 2010
http://goodonedickhead.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Good One Dick Head! Thursday, May 27, 2010. Burning Love - Demo 7 inch on Gold. Another quickie tonight. I'm still feeling pretty average, so I'll get back into story mode real soon. I've been a Colofan for some time now, and when I heard that he had a new band that he was signing for, I got uber stoked. As with all Colohan bands, I was thinking maybe he was going to get into the same shit he was doing with Cursed. Now I wasn't completely wrong, but I wasn't right either. Good One Dick Head! The artwork ...

Good One Dick Head!: January 2011
http://goodonedickhead.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Good One Dick Head! Tuesday, January 18, 2011. NOFX - Wolves in Wolves Clothing. I decided today that if I have to sit on the train for 45 mins to get to work, given that I am already listening to music, that i'd write some blog entries seeing as I am so far behind! Most LP's cost you between $24.99 and $39.99), and it included this record. The opening lines of US A-holes is one of my fave lyrics of recent years. It's hard to play NOFX at home when my chick is there though. She got into a huge fight ...

Good One Dick Head!: September 2010
http://goodonedickhead.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Good One Dick Head! Wednesday, September 22, 2010. 2 more top tens off the list! The Icarus Line - Mono. It has been a good week so far for me record-wise. 2 of my top 10 wants have arrived in the mail, and this is the first of the 2. Now, I f*cking loved The Icarus Line, and "Feed a Cat to your Cobra" is still one of my favourite songs, so getting this in the mail was an awesome day for me. I danced a jig. Yep, I danced in the post office. Can't win them all can we? Good One Dick Head! I was super stoke...

Good One Dick Head!: Refused - Songs to fan the flames of discontent

Good One Dick Head! Tuesday, May 18, 2010. Refused - Songs to fan the flames of discontent. I tell ya, dropping the needle on this bad boy made me fe fucking Alive. I have always love this record, and when I sold off everything, this was one of the last pieces to go. (and as soon as this was over I put on the everlasting EP and then The Shape of Punk to come. It was awesome! The covers are pretty flimsy anyway. Mid 90's Victory records, what do you expect really? The only thing that is a bit weird about ...

Into the Unknown: November 2006
http://adefiantconfession.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html
Navigating the Eastward Passage. Monday, November 06, 2006. To compound my misery today (last period of all times) all of the usual suspects were either off or had appointments and had to leave after 15mins (why bother turning up? So it was a smaller and generally more reserved bunch I had in front of me - I thought. The most infuriating part is that despite the battle for supremacy in leading the discussion the class actually got through a fair chunk of work - so was the lesson a success or failure?

Broken Green Door | Unwavering Spirit
https://unwaveringspirit.wordpress.com/2015/08/10/broken-green-door
A Vinyl Record Blog. More Give →. While I would normally be really happy about posting this recent purchase, I was actually pretty pissed off for a couple of days before I even considered posting this. I was pretty stoked when I purchased a green copy of Reason to Believe’s “The Next Door”. It is pretty high up on my want list and it felt like forever before I even found a copy that was for sale. So when I finally found one, I jumped on it. I was going to post pictures of the cracks on the record here bu...
