Comical Sense – Pondering Problems – While Traveling. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. Think Only Kind Thoughts. April 6, 2015. What’s up with the kind thoughts? Certainly a picture of flamingos and storks leads me to think kind thoughts. Later that night I found myself googling daily affirmations. OH MY GOODNESS there are affirmations for everything! Whatever ails you, whatever you want to manifest in your life, whatever you are trying to get over there is an affirmation for that....

Blossom Risk: 04.2011
http://blossomrisk.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Chatter from the edge of the petals. Is a crazy talented photographer and took some belly photos of me as a gift yesterday morning. in the afternoon, she sent these 2. It was so fun, the hidden away seaside spot she took us was AMAZING. it was 65 and at some point in the day my arms got pink. THAT is how you know you had a long winter, you get a sunburn on the first real springy day. Moving to our new, big house. Saying smell ya later, you cramped, noisy, smelly apartment. Today i woke up at 4:30am.

Life's Too Short to Wear Beige: How to ride your bike and remain a dapper gentleman
http://lifestooshorttowearbeige.blogspot.com/2014/06/how-to-ride-your-bike-and-remain-dapper_28.html
Saturday, June 28, 2014. How to ride your bike and remain a dapper gentleman. Yeah, right; like we'd ever see a headline like that floating around the internet machine (a headline that's not pulled directly from The Onion. So how come no one tells guys what to wear to ride their bikes? Oh, they do; but it usually doesn't involve all this hand-wringing about looking "masculine" enough. (Maybe it's because those cycling shorts leave little question as to one's anatomy underneath? Then again, anyone who sug...

Life's Too Short to Wear Beige: Can spinning make you fat? Probably not, but reading Harper's Bazaar might make you stupid
http://lifestooshorttowearbeige.blogspot.com/2014/04/can-spinning-make-you-fat-probably-not.html
Saturday, April 12, 2014. Can spinning make you fat? Probably not, but reading Harper's Bazaar might make you stupid. I tend to read the "fitness" sections of women's mainstream fashion magazines with a certain amount of skepticism. These are the same publications, after all, that present cosmetic surgery as a perfectly reasonable alternative to a gym membership. So when I saw this Harper's Bazaar. One of my favorite bloggers, Fit and Feminist. Wrote a great post about this article. You know what I say?

Life's Too Short to Wear Beige: Three point one, in numbers
http://lifestooshorttowearbeige.blogspot.com/2015/02/three-point-one-in-numbers.html
Wednesday, February 11, 2015. Three point one, in numbers. Last Sunday morning, I ran my first 5K of 2015: the Renegade Race Series iTRY 5K. Spoiler alert: I didn't win. Anyway, since I like to actually participate in these kinds of events, I don't have any blurry mid-run selfies; you might refer back to this post. To learn how I feel about that. I do, however, feel that numbers are an essential part of running and racing, so I'd like to recap the experience in quantitative terms:. Bruised right big toe.
