Grazing Kate: Luscombe Drinks: Organic, Local, Delicious
http://grazingkate.blogspot.com/2015/07/luscombe-drinks-organic-local-delicious.html
An Insider's Guide to Food and Drink in Devon and Cornwall. Thursday, 16 July 2015. Luscombe Drinks: Organic, Local, Delicious. I have already waxed lyrical about Luscombe. Passionate Ginger Beer - their newest offering and absolutely lovely. A great combination of flavours - and I don't necessarily like things to be 'mucked around'. The passionfruit flavour works really well with the ginger and light fizz. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Teignmouth, Devon, United Kingdom. View my complete profile.

An Insider's Guide to Food and Drink in Devon and Cornwall. Wednesday, 17 June 2015. Buckfast Abbey: The Grange Cafe Review. It's not every day that I have lunch at a Benedictine monastery ( Buckfast Abbey. We had a wander around the gardens and the abbey. The lavender, herbs and the roses stick in my mind as being beautiful. There were plenty of nuns and monks around all in different attire - I think they were attending a conference on site. I enjoyed the whole experience, despite not being religious...

Uh-oh, I watch Masterchef and can see the pressure the cooks are under. I hope I can remain calm and collected when I have to perform. The link to the competition is here. And I might win one of these. Plus £500 John Lewis. Devon Life is a great publication by the way. Of course, I'm not biased! This was huge a...

An Insider's Guide to Food and Drink in Devon and Cornwall. Friday, 22 May 2015. A Visit to Devon County Show 21 May 2015, Exeter. I went along to the show with my mother-in-law. We headed straight to the food tent where we sampled many wonderful things including many prize-winning cheeses, chutney and the recently launched, delicious and versatile Shute Fruit. There were many tempting food vans selling their wares too. We had a Farmer Tom's. Ice cream (honeycomb flavour) and a refreshing Bloom Berry.

An Insider's Guide to Food and Drink in Devon and Cornwall. Thursday, 22 January 2015. Yesterday I attended the Masterclass on 'Stocks and Sauces' at the Masons Arms. Knowstone. This is a lovely thatched pub, just off the North Devon Link Road (A361) in a very quiet village location. Pictured below are the veal stock (complete with 4 pigs trotters) and the chicken stock. There is also a bar area that is separate from the dining area. I recommend this place as a venue for honing some cookery skills, and a...

An Insider's Guide to Food and Drink in Devon and Cornwall. Thursday, 26 March 2015. My Devon Take on Cranks Homity Pie - Delicious! So, despite my total fear of making pastry, I decided to have a go at the Cranks recipe for Homity Pie. I used Allinson Plain Wholemeal flour. I put the flour and fat into the food processor. I was too scared to make it by hand. I added some iced water once it had turned to 'breadcrumbs'. I let the pastry rest in the fridge whilst I prepared the filling ingredients. Http:/ ...
