Morning children need to arrive at school at 9 am and be picked up promptly at 11.30 am. Afternoon children start at 1pm and finish at 3.30pm. Full-timers stay all day and eat lunch with their teachers at 12pm in the classroom. If your child has any special dietary needs these will be catered for. If your child is absent for any reason, please phone the office on the first day of absence or let a member of Nursery staff know. Lost books are charged at 5. March 25, 2007. The 1st of March was World Book Day and we joined the whole school in the hall for quiet reading at the end of the day. Lots of us took books we had made and read them to each other and to the teachers. March 14, 2007. As it was national No Smoking Day, a Ready, Steady, Quit bus came to our school. Adults could have their levels of carbon monoxide measured and were given packs to help them stop smoking. Children could also take away some information to pass on to people they know who smoke. Thursday, December 18, 2008. Student 3 was a girl who enjoyed PE; she appeared to be athletic. She felt safe in her PE class and liked to participate in the games and events. She mentioned that she was appointed captain for some of the relays. The fact that she mentioned this leads me to believe that this was important to her. Teaching leadership through physical education presents students with hands on leadership experience and decision making capabilities. Interviewer: Do you enjoy your PE class?
