We took a brief weekend trip down to Destin, FL with a few dear friends of ours. The main reason we actually made it out to FL was because Lee had bought a parasailing coupon via one of those online deal sites, and we wanted to use it. And I guess that’s what’s so sad. Monthly Archives: April 2012. A thousand miles to go. April 24, 2012. I thought I would write a little bit about my experiences in the past month without a car. In short, it’s been pretty much ok. Getting to bike a lot to work has been good for my general fitness, even though by the end of a week, my legs are pretty much shot. It does make it more difficult to get around the city, especially if I have to be at some meeting elsewhere. Have there been times where I wished I did have a car? April 7, 2012.
