Thursday, November 29, 2012. Quick Winter Tomato and Corn Chowder. Tomato and Corn Chowder. Adapted from White on Rice Couple. 1 tablespoon olive oil. 1/2 onion, chopped. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon brown sugar. 1 (145 oz) can diced tomatoes with juices. 1 (15 oz) can corn with liquid. 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper or cayenne pepper.
