Check Onan Oil

Will not start, there are two very common causes:. The gas in the gas tank is below the Onan. Pickup (this is supposed to be about ¼ tank – to prevent you from running your gas tank dry using the generator). The oil level in the Onan. Has an oil level sensor to prevent the generator from being run with low oil. Here is how to check the oil in your Onan. It is a green box with a black access panel. If you don’t know where it is located read this. Step 2: Remove the access cover. Locate the Dip Stick.

Where is my Onan. What year and model is your Roadtrek? We know of three possible locations. All have their advantages and disadvantages. Dodge – Before mid-1996. Roadtrek put the Onan. In a metal lined compartment under the dinette on the driver’s side in the rear. This was a great spot with easy access to the generator. The disadvantage is that if the generator must be removed it involves several dozen screws and access to the dinette. Chevy – Before mid-1996. Needless to say servicing the generator.

The Front Bed in a Roadtrek. This describes how to set up the front bed (or beds) in Roadtreks. That do not require a separate mattress. These photos are from a 1995 Popular (one front bed) so it may be slightly different in your Roadtrek. The front bed is rather short and narrow and is best used by kids or smaller adults. Remove the headrest from the bathroom wall. Slide the seat back upward to remove from the rail. Here the seat back has been removed and you can see the track the bracket slides into.

2310 is a three way (propane, 120 volt, 12 volt) refrigerator that was used for many years in Roadtreks. One of its nicest features is that it requires no 12 volt power to run on propane (which is not true of the current models).
