Reflections From A Global Nomad: A Family Tradition

http://deborahreflections.blogspot.com/2008/12/family-tradition.html

Reflections From A Global Nomad. A record of the life, times, and countries of one foreign service family. Sunday, December 14, 2008. No, your other left! We had three political ornaments this year to commemorate the historic nature of the U. S. presidential election. Marty, his son-in-law, and his son all chose to go this route. The son-in-law's ornament reflects both the election and his Texas pride. Marty's son actually tried to cheat by presenting two ornaments- one Obama one and one in memorium of a...

Reflections from Katie

Thursday, September 9, 2010. Life doesn't always go how we plan does it? I certainly didn't plan to be a newlywed bride with a badly broken leg. I broke it August 21st, after we'd been married only 3 weeks. After waiting almost two weeks for surgery, I'm now at home, laid up for many more weeks, and unable to do much of anything. So much for keeping my house spotless or any of the painting projects I had planned! About working until at least mid-December. I can’t even do. I guess I carried some of that t...
