The Beginning of the End…Part 2 | Through My Eyes
https://reflectionsonmylife.wordpress.com/2010/02/18/the-beginning-of-the-end-part-2
A daily journal about me…. Laquo; Don’t Jump On the Bed! The Beginning of the End…Part 2. February 18, 2010 by Diana. I missed blogging on last week’s episode of Lost. But mainly I just remember being very confused on that one. Although I couldn’t help but visualize the scene in The Princess Bride. I enjoyed this week’s episode a lot. More questions, a couple partial answers, this is the LOST. The boy in the woods. The names on the ceiling. The smoke monster’s foe? I’m interested in knowing about those.

A daily journal about me…. Laquo; Ape House. November 15, 2010 by Diana. If you have not yet read the first book in the series, Hunger Games. The below post may contain spoilers for you. As always, I will not include spoilers of the current book being discussed without giving you notice. Lord Of The Flies. Etc but Collins is able to put her own twist on things and challenge us to look at big government and oppression of society in new ways. As a side note, in reading both Hunger Games. I also enjoyed the...

A daily journal about me…. Laquo; The Beginning of the End…Part 2. April 29, 2010 by Diana. I do feel it is necessary to put in a Body for Life disclaimer: The program worked. In 12 weeks I shrank from a size 14 to a size 6/8. It approached eating in a healthy way and is one of the largest reasons I believe in not denying myself food I crave. The program asks you to eat healthy for 6 days a week and then gives you the 7. And yes, that was accomplished without. So what EXACTLY do I eat? W/Peanut Butter, a...

A daily journal about me…. What About The Other books? The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. October 20, 2010 by Diana. As I was writing my post, I started to feel as if it was less of a “review” and more of an “opinion.” I realized I liked that word and decided from here on I would write book opinions. 🙂. The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. Almost as soon as we meet Lisbeth, her part of the story is whisked away and buried for awhile. Let’s be clearthis book is titled The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. I might h...

Life as a Crazy Mom!: Behind... way behind!
http://longwindedcrazy.blogspot.com/2010/12/behind-way-behind.html
Wednesday, December 15, 2010. Behind. way behind! I know it's been way too long. Like forever long but honestly I haven't had anything worth blogging about. Even right now, while I'm typing this, I can't come up with a single good reason that I'm blogging. Well, maybe except for Jennifer! She emailed me the other day and asked when I planned on updating the blog. So this is your update LOL. And we had our first notable snowfall this week (maybe I'll get a few pics of that up in a bit). Have a great day!

Thursday, December 23, 2010. Last night we had the best time at Gaylord Opryland's ICE! We've been nearly every year since girlie was big enough and we were very excited to go back this year. My bosses were very kind and purchased the tickets for us as a gift so it was even better going for free :). This years theme was. It was so neat seeing everything made of ice. How these people make this is beyond me! I was particularly fond of the statue pond in the village. So neat! Girlie LOVES this part! Onnayou...

Thursday, April 2, 2009. How I Met Your Father. Since it is your Daddy's birthday, I thought I would tell you the story of how we got together. One Wednesday in February - it was Grammy night to be exact - Aunt Betsy and Uncle Sean invited me over for dinner. John and Jeanie were coming too - and your Dad! When your Dad got there, I was in the kitchen making guacamole. I had a huge gash on my head because I had run from the studio to my car in the rain and had hit my head on the car door! He told Uncle S...

Sunday, July 14, 2013. Steep, Jagged Trails. Remember the time it snowed on the 4th of July? High on a mountain pass? Remember when Mike Hud read The Hobbit aloud to us as we sat around the campfire? Now, what year was it when the brakes went out on our rented jeep? Weren't we rescued by that man who looked like Grizzly Adams? Wasn't baby Sally so cute in her playpen at the campground? Remember when Chris brought his guitar and he and Jan serenaded us by firelight? It is part of us. Our valley in Col...
NashVegas Native: February 2010

Thursday, February 11, 2010. I broke my self-enforced vow of songwriting silence today. It was time. I had put it off long enough, even going to such great lengths as writing a cookbook to keep from having to write a song. I was a little rusty, but I had expected to be. My co-writer, Phil Madeira, was as gracious and funny as ever and I am sure this helped to ease my nerves. Well, what if I approached my songwriting that way? What if I didn't worry about "commerciality" and trying to compete? The melanch...

Saturday, October 13, 2012. My Master Chef Audition. Subtitle: aka Thank God I'm Boring? My alarm went off at 6:30 this morning. That NEVER happens on a Saturday morning unless we're leaving for a fabulous vacation or, as was the case today, I am auditioning for Master Chef. I quickly showered and tried to dress like the middle aged writer/mom/cook that I am these days. (The FAQs on the Master Chef website suggested we wear something that best represents who we are! Maybe everything was going too smoothl...

Wednesday, September 19, 2012. Always a writer. Over the course of my life so far, the drive to write has been a blessing and a curse. On the best of days, it has left me with a great feeling of accomplishment. It has given me great pride to have created. And yet, here I am revisiting my blog. So, something did happen to end the drought. It was nothing dramatic. It was talking about. Is still in there. Yes, the pendulum will swing wide and the roller coaster will careen out of control at times. B...A lif...

Things That Really Tick Me Off! Why Does My Belief Offend You? January 5, 2014 by orca2017. Does the celebration or observance of the “birth” of a historical figure upset you, hurt you, make you feel angry? Is it the deeper meaning of what this observance stands for – that a large number of people believe this historical figure is the Son of God? Merriam-Webster goes on to further define. From Wikipedia: “The. Prohibits the making of any law. Respecting an establishment of religion. Freedom of the press.

Reflections On My Sunglasses
Reflections On My Sunglasses. Interview with Lena Lumelsky. Was one of the talented participants in the sustainable fashion project ‘ High fashion low countries. The dress ‘Omnia Vanitas’, which literally means all is vanity, stresses the fact that we all want to be admired and to look better than we really are. Lena depicted this idea by elegantly placing a magnifier in front of a (real) diamond. Vanity is very difficult for people to carry, that ‘s why I used a heavy construction. And oh, Cata.Pira...
