A Window Into The Heart Of A Believer. June 23, 2007. It has been a beautiful journey since I started my blog about 7 months ago. I have met so many wonderful people through my blog and formed so many friendships. I have learned a lot from your wisdom and I have been thanked by a lot for writing what you all consider thoughtful and sometimes beautiful and moving posts. I will miss you all. I pray all of you have successful lives here and especially in the hereafter. May Allah Bless You All. To use toward...

Romance Anyone? | B E L I E V E R

A Window Into The Heart Of A Believer. June 11, 2007. Ok so my dear sister Lena wondered what was the most romantic thing I had done for anyone and I decided to just make a small post out of it. In my case most of my romance remains within me because I never had the right opportunity or the right person to express it to because they either did not deserve my romance, or they could care less for romance and the likes. Romantic things I have done:. 3) Had a few drinks (non-alcoholic of course! 1) Holding m...

A Window Into The Heart Of A Believer. May 16, 2007. My very first tag ever … thanks to Sumera. I will try not to sound too lame! 1) I am usually a very entertaining person so I end up using “ mm hmm. 8221; a lot in the way the African American ladies say it here in the US. You would have to hear it to know what I am talking about. 2) I am not too fond of cliches. 3) When I am with someone who loves to talk a lot, I end up saying “ R-I-G-H-T. 8220; I tend to stop associating with people who talk like this.

Between Dusk and Dawn…. Some *scribble* *scribble* by Ameera. On April 16, 2011. Every time I wonder how Allah(swt) has been so gracious on me that I cannot even imagine being able to thank Him for a fraction of what He has given me… I find myself blessed with much more than before. What I am talking about here, right now, is marriage. I’m not married yet but I finally know. Honestly, all the apprehension, the worrying for. It will be,. Be the best for me, without a doubt. Preconceived notions thus b...

Somewhere to keep hold of my thoughts on religion, science, and technology. And whatever else is on my mind at the time. March 20, 2013. ILEAD Part Two: Play to your Strengths. This is why I'm writing again. At the I.LEAD conference, not every speaker was a scholar. Some speakers were not even all that eloquent. But eloquence isn't necessary for delivering a message, really; it is more a function of passion and conviction. And in my case, it was the ineloquence. Of a full-on rant that woke me up. As an i...

A Window Into The Heart Of A Believer. May 22, 2007. Ok this was long due and I wasn’t sleeping well because I hadn’t gotten this out of the way yet. Such is the torment of iMuslim. Who very kindly tagged me hehe. This is continuation of 1. Basically, I had a thick Indian accent. When I interned at Motorola, I felt inadequate speaking the way I did. I don’t know why. I tried on the American accent and I was so good at it that everyone would comment, “Are you American? Were you born here? Interesting stuf...
