Rick and Mike were trying to load about 50 head in the corrals. Several calfs made breaks for it in all directions. Two cowboys plus 3 dogs weren't enough. Friday, April 23, 2010. New Nikorr 85mm f/2.8 pc-e lens. This spring I have new equiptment to stimulate my photographs. A Nikorr 85mm f/2.8 PC-E; it is one of three tilt shift lenses Nikon produces. Manual focus; with the ability to tilt for selective composition. It also shifts the lens allows me infinite focus past f/22. It reminds me of my darkroom days and my Sinar 4x5. I loved that camera. Wednesday, September 28, 2011. Cow Camp 2011 Day 1. Cow Camp Sept 22, 2011. Today was the first day of round up. Thirteen to fourteen cowboys, 15-20 dogs, 20 horses, and the cows. By 8am Layne Brown Sr.(my gramps) had been bucked off, and rolled on by the horse (the bit was to tight). My uncle called me over. "Go to the store call 911 for an ambulance, it's grandpa.
