The Juneau Skating Club operates with a committee system so that our clubs many different activities receive the specialized focus that they deserve. Anyone can be on one or more of our committees. All committee chairs welcome the input, knowledge and skills that can be found in the Juneau community. Learn to Skate USA. Skate & Dress Sale. Activities & Events. Our local competition is a fun and supportive opportunity for both basic skills students and figure skaters show the skills they have worked hard on and cheer for their friends. For our figure skaters who travel to out of town competitions this is an important opportunity to perform in front of a crowd. Our Holiday Recital is our gift to Juneau. It is a no-charge figure skating performance in which all of Juneau is invited to come and enjoy.
