Cheney Family: Christmas 2009
http://jtcheney.blogspot.com/2010/01/christmas-2009.html
Wednesday, January 20, 2010. It was truly a blast to watch how excited the kids were this Christmas. Mason was absolutely beside himself and admittedly, I was highly entertained. After an enjoyable morning of opening gifts, it was off to Grandma and Grandpa's for yummy omlettes. They always taste Fantastic Bruce. It is wonderful when the kids are so excited about Christmas. We miss the omlets, but Mike is a great substitute for omlet maker. January 28, 2010 at 6:44 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Becoming A Family . . . Saturday, May 19, 2012. When I came home from Women's Conference the kids were waiting with a sign and a cheer. Poor Will, they even had him doing it. Will and Ali loved meeting their cousins. Will loves my sisters and calls them sistras. He cries when he has to leave them and their kids. Ali loves my sister's dog and begs for one. She and Sara are very persuasive. But a dog? I think I have my hands full enough for now. Our joint gardening venture with The Prestwichs and Reeds.

Becoming A Family . . . Monday, April 26, 2010. At one of the seminars I went to recently about adopted kids, they said to remember the magical moments and focus on those instead of all the negative. For my own sake I wanted to blog about my magical April moments. For our one year anniversary with the girls, we went to Park City for a few days. They had a karaoke night at the hotel we were staying. My girls were fearless and took endless turns singing for the group. Jeff had to leave and coul...We went t...

Becoming A Family . . . Thursday, September 2, 2010. Behind the Fridge and the Garden Hose. Let me start this post by saying that in the six years I lived in my house without the girls, nothing has ever fallen behind the fridge. The other day I heard something fall and turned around. Sara was standing by the fridge looking suspicious. I asked her, "What just fell? She said, "Nothing." I looked everywhere on the floor and truly there was nothing. I was confused, it had been a big noise. A bag of stiff.

Tuesday, June 29, 2010. Hours and hours of painting the family room (ceiling, walls, trim) once the paneling had been removed and replaced with drywall. The trim around the window that took 8 coats of paint and primer before it actually looked WHITE. I still look at it and think it needs another coat, but I've decided to just let it go! Pictures will come soon. Saturday, June 05, 2010. A few weeks ago, Janyse and I met up in Boston with our other sister, Joanne. She was the perfect hostess. It wa...
