Monday, March 10, 2008. Part of Your World. While preparing for their lunch, I caught sight of the kids being entranced by this nice music from the show on the tv. Finishing up what I had to do in the kitchen, i joined them to watch what's enrapturing both the boys' attention. They are actually watching Little Mermaid 2. Friday, August 29, 2008. A Tai-tai Day - Part 3. We went off to Clarke Quay to wind down. and to utilise some vouchers we had gotten. Sad to say that most of the restaurants here are not family friendly though we did come across some babies in their prams at some outdoor drinking joints. Finally we found one alongside the canal and who could resist a restaurant that had an award for Best Chilli Crab in Year 2007? Links to this post. A Tai-tai Day - Part 2. Wednesday, October 21, 2009. Our Usual Sunday Haunt. Almost 2 to 3 Sundays a month we can be found 'frolicking' at West Coast dog run in the afternoon. If having a dog ups the household expenses, the activity did it's part to balance it for we spend much less on those days we bring Jardin out. Hmmm it is supposed to be a dog run but somehow I think the boys run much more than Jardin most of the time. I think it could be because Jardin is still a puppy at 8months thus less stamina? Jem starts to understand and participate this national event. He hummed some of the National songs. pointed out and declared he likes our country flags. and most of all, sing S I N G A P O RE GO. Wednesday, April 23, 2008. With some help from Irene, i managed to fluff up my sponge cake.hehehhehe. But made the mistake of coating it with buttercream.hahahaha. Monday, October 19, 2009. Came to realise how inconvenient not to have my flickr account running. there's just limited photos that I can share. We had a beautiful day at Hortpark. the weather was cool and nice for a walk. We had been 'stuck' at parks in the west recently with all the recent errands to run in search for the new school and flat at Clementi. Hmmm. or should I call it a sculptured garden? It is a beautiful place and we only managed to cover a small portion of it. Gosh! Our Usual Sunday Haunt.

Tuesday, December 30, 2008. End Note for Year 2008. In a day's time, we are moving on to a brand new year. While the sun still shines on, some feels for global warming. others awaits for more blooms. As the waves continue to splash on our shores, some look out for tsunami. others wow at yet another magnificent sun rise. This year seems to be a dark year for most with bad things happening one after another. Many are hoping for a better year ahead although forecasts by 'experts' are not very uplifting.
