Old Country Daylilies: I just like this seedling
http://oldcountrydaylilies.blogspot.com/2010/03/i-just-like-this-seedling.html
Saturday, March 27, 2010. I just like this seedling. Here is another I really like:. It has a clear color, average branching, bud count, and increase. There is nothing overly spectacularly about it, but I just like it. It is out of JOHN PEAT X ED BROWN. This summer will be the first year that any seedlings from it bloom. I will be planting several crosses of it in a few weeks that should bloom next year, most notably with WONDER OF IT ALL. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Old Country Daylilies: July 2010
http://oldcountrydaylilies.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 11, 2010. Back from the break. This seedling is from the same cross as the previous seedling. I will probably only keep one of these and it will most likely be the first one. They both bloom late so I still have several weeks to decide. This is also a first year bloom seedling and I do not think my blurry picture really does the deep color and edge justice. I included a second picture so you can see what the edge does closer to the end of the petal. Links to this post. My Daylily Blog List.
