erin lynn: The Vegetable Gardens
http://flutterbyerinlynn.blogspot.com/2009/09/vegetable-gardens.html
Tuesday, September 22, 2009. Found this in the Lanc. Co. Amish Cookbook. And thought it was a perfect idea for a garden. First plant five rows of peas. Next plant three row of squash. Then plant five rows of lettuce. Let-us BE FAITHFUL TO DUTY. Let-us BE TRUE TO OBLIGATIONS. Let-us LOVE ONE ANOTHER. And no garden is complete without turnips. Turn-up FOR IMPORTANT MEETINGS. Turn-up WITH A SMILE. Turn-up WITH GOOD IDEAS. To make everything count for something good and worthwhile. What a great play on words!

Friday, December 5, 2008. Fear is the most potent force that prevents parents from allowing their children the freedom they themselves enjoyed when they were young.
