Meditalia: June 2007
http://meditalia.blogspot.com/2007_06_01_archive.html
Welcome to a dream come true. Saturday, June 30, 2007. My travelling companion and I spent almost two hours on the phone today. It's amazing the details that come up. We're realizing there's a fine line between wanting to take it all in. and being too ambitious. Between planning. and over-planning. We've decided to buy ourselves a bit of piece of mind and arrange for a hotel shuttle at our first stay. Hey, isn't it only 1:30am? Hopefully, my homeopath's suggestion. Vivere in pace,. Meditalia: July 2007
http://meditalia.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
Welcome to a dream come true. Sunday, July 29, 2007. Meditalia - Capitolo Sei. How is it that it takes me. Two days to quiet my mind and settle into silence, yet I can step right into the noisy, urban rythm within 24 hours. And yet, as I realized this past week, Silence is truly my native language. But there is nothing gentle about Roma! The hostess at B&B Giovy near the Termini station is wonderful! She has been running this family owned business for 18 years and absolutely LOVES it. She welcomed us...

Meditalia: Sulla Terra Ferma...
http://meditalia.blogspot.com/2007/08/sulla-terra-ferma.html
Welcome to a dream come true. Thursday, August 2, 2007. Having never travelled through so many time zones before, I couldn't have known what to expect upon my return. The physical symptoms of jetlag have really caught me by surprise! I had no problems at all in Italy; the transition to their time zone was smooth. However, my return to Ottawa has been somewhat bumpy. I had to pay a whopping $9.00 in taxes on the items purchased in Italy. For now, allow me to offer these few teasers:. Pace e bene,. This is...

Meditalia: Ritiro spirituale... doing & being
http://meditalia.blogspot.com/2007/08/ritiro-spirituale-doing-being.html
Welcome to a dream come true. Wednesday, August 8, 2007. Ritiro spirituale. doing and being. Richard Rohr, OFM. I've had plenty of opportunity to talk about my trip over the past week, and I expect that will continue for a time. What I'm discovering is that people seem to be most curious about my retreat experience. A seven-day silent meditation retreat? Being non-directed and completely unstructured. This retreat was quite different in many ways. Again, cause to let go of judgement and distraction.

Meditalia: Endings & Beginnings...
http://meditalia.blogspot.com/2007/08/endings-beginnings.html
Welcome to a dream come true. Wednesday, August 15, 2007. I feel it's time to bring this blog to a close. Although the physical journey to Italia is over (this time anyway :-) , I know that the spiritual journey - so powerfully nourished by this trip - is ongoing. Experience loss. Interestingly, it wasn't until three days later that this message hit home. And it had nothing to do with forgiving another person; it had everything to do with becoming willing to forgive the Roman Catholic Church. That's the ...
