Remember the Blanket: Punch or Kiss?

http://www.remembertheblanket.blogspot.com/2006/07/punch-or-kiss.html

Thursday, July 27, 2006. I dreamt last night that I beat the shit out of some guy. I was at a ski resort, staying in a room at some sort of bed-and-breakfast/hostel. When I returned from the slopes, an intruder had entered my room. He was about my age and my height, and he was rooting through my luggage looking for a hooded sweatshirt to steal. I approached him and pushed him away from my luggage. I became enraged about the lobster attack and took to pounding the intruder mercilessly. You are the bomb!

Thursday, July 13, 2006. The Age of Living Vicariously. I thought this essay was interesting (especially conidering that its initial 1993 publication pre-dates the immense and unanticipated popular rise of so-called "reality TV"). Theatre : Performance : The Everyday. Thoughts and Writings of Will Daddario. Brecht's "In Praise of Communism". I always learn a lot from Žižek, even if his poignant passages hide within dense forests of anecdotes. Starting on the very bottom of page 379 in his recent Living In The End Times. It's quite straightforward, you'll understand it. It's not hard. Because you're not an exploiter, you'll easily grasp it. It's for your own good, so find out all about it. But we know better:. An end to all madness.
