My Car Wreck - karenjunker
http://karenjunker.livejournal.com/18433.html
Apr 19th, 2010 at 11:42 AM. Last Monday, I was driving on interstate 90, just entering the tunnel that goes under Seattle, when I was hit from behind by a car going much faster than me. Both of us were moving, though. The sheer physics involved boggle the mind. I'm okay, my car is in the shop and is repairable. I'm going to go to a chiropractor for a few visits. I feel incredibly lucky to be alive. 9 comments Leave a comment. Apr 19th, 2010 07:08 pm (UTC). Glad you are OK! Apr 19th, 2010 07:48 pm (UTC).

Missing: Four teeth. And common sense. - Inman

Missing: Four teeth. And common sense. August 30th, 2009 (07:24 pm). Current location: our fuzzy brown couch. Current mood: sick of soup. Current song: Have You Seen Mary - Sponge. On Friday night, we walked by the delicious El Capitan's on our way back from the critique meeting, and I wanted a hot dog, but there was no way I could properly chew one. Teased me and said I should just put one in a blender. Oh yes, I did. It needed Pepsi, however, before it would actually blend. Posted by: calendula witch (.

Mark and Sylvia's Wedding Blog!!: Wedding Day!!
http://markandsylvia.blogspot.com/2008/08/wedding-day.html
Thursday, August 28, 2008. Of all the things I should blog about for our wedding blog, it’d definitely be… our wedding itself! Sorry it’s taken so long, but we’ve been catching up on our sleep. And we took our honeymoon! That’ll be next week’s post :) So! On to the wedding! Meanwhile, I think Mark had his groomsmen met up at our place and had a relaxing lunch at Porto’s. I’m sure video games were involved there somewhere, too. Bob’s a professional crooner, have I mentioned that? Then Vanessa with Matt.

Accidental Yarnover: Knitting FAQ: Ergonomics and Posture
http://accidentalyarnover.blogspot.com/2008/07/knitting-faq-ergonomics-and-posture.html
How the hell did I do that? July 27, 2008. Knitting FAQ: Ergonomics and Posture. How should I hold my knitting? Like any activity where you use your hands for long periods of time, knitting can give you repetitive stress injuries if you do it wrong. It's important that you not let that happen. Here are some tips to help you avoid it:. Try lighter or shorter needles. Support the weight of the fabric in your lap. Put both feet flat on the ground. Just like leaning to the side, curling forward puts a strain...

Accidental Yarnover: Knitting FAQ: Beginner Materials
http://accidentalyarnover.blogspot.com/2008/07/knitting-faq-beginner-materials.html
How the hell did I do that? July 20, 2008. Knitting FAQ: Beginner Materials. What materials are recommended for a beginner to get? The simple, albeit somewhat flippant answer, is that all you need are sticks and string. If you're stranded on a desert island, you can knit with grass and twigs. As long as you have something to make loops out of and something to make them on, you can start knitting. That said, some materials are easier for a beginner to work with than others. Somewhere between 7 (4.5 mm...
