My dad, JoAnna, and Cory will stay a few extra days and go horseback riding, snorkeling, and walking through lava tubes. Our goals include: eating Icelandic hot dogs, finding a pair of Icelandic wool mittens for Ren, searching for gnomes, trolls, and fairies as we explore the island, eating Skyr yogurt, and taking lots of great pictures! Solche Themen sind fuer oeffentliche Schulen in den USA, wie in Deutschland, kein Problem, jedoch an einer Schule mit Uniform steht der sogenannte 'dress code' ganz oben auf der Liste. Unplugged and in perpetual motion. Saturday, December 11, 2010. Four days in Curacao. Last June, Jo attended the Travel Blog Exchange conference in New York. While there she won a three night stay at a luxury resort in Willemstad, Curacao. So, over the long Thanksgiving weekend we flew off to Curacao. The island is still a part of the Netherlands – The Netherland Antilles to be exact – and is inhabited by a combination of Dutch citizens and native Curacaoans. It is a very colorful, albeit small, island.
