Pam's Ponderings: Family
http://pamsponderings-hippochick.blogspot.com/2011/08/family.html
Thoughts of a more than midlife dreamer, writer, lover of life and God. Monday, August 1, 2011. I think in my last post, I had just returned from visiting some of my precious family in Pennsylvania. I was feeling poorly, and perhaps complaining just a teensy. I'm happy to report that I am finally feeling. Fit as a fiddle. The last of my ailments was my poor aching tooth. I finally ended up with a root canal which was a tremendous relief. Today I had the permanent filling and it is almost perfect. My own ...

Thoughts of a more than midlife dreamer, writer, lover of life and God. Friday, April 8, 2011. Beautiful Day in Red Rock. As some of you have noticed, I tried to post something last week that did not come through. The problem being that I actually posted it on my blog,. We Write for Ten,. A project no longer in existence, and then tried to transfer it to this blogging page. It didn't work. So, today, I am going to try to duplicate that post. We spent a lot of time watching them. Their surefootedness.

http://pamsponderings-hippochick.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Thoughts of a more than midlife dreamer, writer, lover of life and God. Monday, September 20, 2010. That brings me to today and the title of this post. We have had the most delightful day in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. It began at the Bonneville Fish Hatchery where we saw beautiful rainbow trout. This is Herman the Sturgeon, over nine feet long and weighing over 400 pounds. We watched a wonderfully informative video on the process of artificial spawning. Wednesday, September 15, 2010.

Thoughts of a more than midlife dreamer, writer, lover of life and God. Thursday, July 29, 2010. Gretchen and Brian arrived on Tuesday for a much anticipated, long awaited visit. We have been having so much fun laughing, playing, eating and just enjoying each others' company. Yesterday, we made a quick visit to Pennsylvania to visit with family. It was a delightful day and I thought I'd share a few pictures. From left to right, Brian, Gretchen, Anita, Analiese, Alexandra (twins) and in front, Andrew.

Pam's Ponderings: OH NO! NOAH
http://pamsponderings-hippochick.blogspot.com/2014/04/oh-no-noah.html
Thoughts of a more than midlife dreamer, writer, lover of life and God. Tuesday, April 1, 2014. As is our Tuesday habit, we went to the movies today. Shortly after we retired we discovered that on Tuesdays, at Regal Theaters, popcorn was free. Free popcorn! Well, I was hooked. Over the years the popcorn has changed from free to $1 to $2, but it's still cheaper than the rest of the week and I am a real popcorn lover. In fact, I make Jim upgrade so I can have more of the bag we share. We talked it over and...

Thoughts of a more than midlife dreamer, writer, lover of life and God. Monday, February 28, 2011. Life in the Desert. We've been here Henderson for two weeks already. I'm finally getting around to posting from the desert. As you already know, we left home after saying our final good-bye to our dear mother and mother-in-law. Although we miss her dearly, we are, nonetheless praising God for her home going. The first stop in our journey was in the Chicago area of Illinois to spend some. We left Hereford an...

Thoughts of a more than midlife dreamer, writer, lover of life and God. Thursday, August 12, 2010. A Few Days in the Adirondacks. We had a great time visiting with Bruce and Shelly at their summer home in the Adirondacks. The weather was iffy, but nice enough that we spent some time outside. Saturday was a perfect "deck" day and we spent the afternoon sunning and catching up. Of course, I managed to get a nap in. There is something about that mountain air. I know this is probably a strange picture, but t...
