Thursday, June 12, 2008. We were able to take a couple of days as a family at South Padre Island before our summer gets too hectic with trips and moving. We were happy that Ana and the boys were able to go with us. Here are a few photos from the outing. International Museum of Art and Science. We have enjoyed our trips to the IMAS museum. Wednesday, April 11, 2007. This week we are taking a couple of days to visit San Antonio, Texas. A couple of our dear friends Rene, Tina, Lukas and Mikah Saldaña were going to be in San Antonio for a convention where Rene is promoting his new book (see his blog. Both families arrived on Tuesday Afternoon to San Antonio (us from McAllen and the Saldaña's from Lubbock). We enjoyed a nice dinner together on the River Walk that evening. Tina and Micah Saldaña.
