Protein Expression and Purification Core (PEPcore). For protein production in E. coli. The charge covers both labor and common reagents. The core facility provides TEV, SUMO proteases and Ni-NTA resin, the cost of which is included in the hourly charge. However, clients are required to provide proteases and affinity resins if they are different from the above mentioned ones. For protein production in mammalian cells, an extra charge will be needed to cover the cost of culture media.

Center for Analytical Ultracentrifugation of Macromolecular Assemblies (CAUMA). The CAUMA facility offers multiple services related to hydrodynamic characterization of solvated molecules. We primarily perform three types of experiments to assist with the characerization of solvated molecules:. Analytical ultracentrifugation, to perform sedimentation velocity and sedimentation equilibrium experiments with any one of three instruments: a Beckman Optima XLA, XLI and XLF (equipped with fluorescence optics).
