It provides a computing facility for the small to mid size jobs not favored at the leadership computing facilities. It consists of several sub-clusters. The entry point to the PPPL clusters is portal.pppl.gov. Users login to the cluster through this load balanced pool of systems using their PPPL Unix accounts. Recover Your Files using your snapshot directory. Snapshots of your home directory are taken nightly and are named "YYYY-MM-DD". Snapshots could be accessed as follows: "cd $HOME/.zfs/snapshot". You will be able to see a snapshot of your entire home directory with all the files. As they were at the time when the snapshot was taken and you may recover the files you need.
